Mark StevensAn interview with Mark Stevens (, Municipal Court Judge for Henderson since April, 2007. Before being elected as Judge, Mark served in the U.S. Marine Corps. from 1988 until 1994, as a Captain, a Company Commander, and finally as a Judge Advocate Defense Attorney (JAG).

After leaving the Marines, he worked as a private attorney and a law enforcement training instructor from 1994-1997. In 1997 he was accepted by the Henderson Police Department and served as an officer until 2001. In 2001, he decided to put his law degree back to work in the courtroom and joined the City of Henderson City Attorney’s office as a Deputy City Attorney working in the criminal prosecution division until 2007, when he was elected a Municipal Court Judge.
