Mark Stevens

Before being elected as Judge, Mark served in the U.S. Marine Corps. from 1988 until 1994, as a Captain, a Company Commander, and finally as a Judge Advocate Defense Attorney (JAG).

In 1997 he was accepted by the Henderson Police Department and served as an officer until 2001. In 2001, he decided to put his law degree back to work in the courtroom and joined the City of Henderson City Attorney’s office as a Deputy City Attorney working in the criminal prosecution division until 2007, when he was elected a Municipal Court Judge.

Mark Brandenburg

Mark Brandenburg Mark Brandenburg, the co-owner of the Golden Gate Hotel Casino in Downtown Las Vegas speaks about recent improvements at his property. Brandenburg recently sold part of the Golden Gate to the Stevens family, who also own the Las Vegas 51s minor-league baseball team and the “D” Hotel and Casino.

The Golden Gate is the oldest still-operating casino in Las Vegas on the original site.

Even though the price of their signature shrimp cocktail was recently increased to $1.99, it still remains popular and an iconic Vegas offering.
